Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Job Type: Probation → Full-Time
Compensation: From $500 per month for Full-Time (Negotiable)
Working Hours: 5.5 days per week, 8 hours per day

About the Role

NextMeta PLC is an innovative digital media & technology company, building educational platforms, marketplace solutions, and digital infrastructure to support projects like WorldTrust Kids Academy and other ventures.

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our team and build scalable, user-friendly platforms. This role requires a strong technical background in web & mobile development and a willingness to explore AI-powered automation for efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web & mobile platforms and our solution suite

• Work on both frontend & backend development, ensuring smooth performance.

• Implement user authentication, data storage, and content management features.

• Optimize database queries, API integration, and cloud hosting solutions.

• Experiment with AI-powered automation for platform enhancements.

• Ensure security, performance, and scalability for long-term growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Tech Stack Proficiency

• Frontend: React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js (PWA focus).

• Backend: Node.js, Express.js

• Database: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Firebase.

• Cloud & Deployment: AWS, Google Cloud, or Vercel.

• Version Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

• Knowledge of authentication systems (OAuth, Firebase Auth, JWT, etc.).

• Familiarity with AI integrations (e.g., Chatbot APIs, AI content automation).

• Experience in edtech, marketplaces, or SaaS platforms is a plus.

Bonus Skills (Optional but Useful)

• AI & Automation: Knowledge of AI models, chatbot integration, AI-driven analytics.

• Mobile Development: React Native (if expanding to mobile apps).

• Performance Optimization: Experience with caching, load balancing, and scalability.
