About the Role

NextMeta PLC is a digital media company specializing in kids’ educational content. We create engaging videos that teach children language, social skills, and problem-solving through fun, creative storytelling.

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor who is also eager to learn AI-powered editing tools to improve workflow efficiency. If you have a passion for creating engaging kids’ videos and want to work in a dynamic, growing team, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

• Edit fun, engaging educational videos for children’s learning platforms.

• Add motion graphics, animations, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.

• Sync voiceovers, subtitles, and background music seamlessly.

• Optimize video formats for YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms.

• Learn and experiment with AI editing & voice-over tools (e.g., RunwayML, Descript, Pictory).

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in Video Editing Software

• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut Pro.

Basic Motion Graphics & Effects

• Ability to create transitions, lower-thirds, pop-up text animations.

Willingness to Learn AI Tools

• Willingness to learn RunwayML, Pictory, or Descript for AI-powered editing.

• Open to using AI voice-over tools for automated narration.

Sound Editing & Voice Synchronization

• Experience adjusting audio levels, background music, and voiceovers.

Communication & Collaboration

• Work closely with the content creator & illustrator to ensure engaging videos.

• Adapt quickly to feedback and revision requests.
